This Pongal, the Tamil movie Nesippaya, featuring Aditi Shankar and newcomer Akash Murali, hit the screens. Directed by Vishnuvardhan, known for Pawan Kalyan’s Panjaa, the romantic action thriller is now gearing up for a Telugu release under the title Premistava.

The film’s trailer, unveiled today, begins with a love story between the leads but quickly takes a serious turn. The heroine, after a breakup, moves abroad and faces a bitter experience. Her ex-partner travels to the foreign country, only to uncover the gravity of her situation and the challenges she’s facing. The reasons behind their breakup and more will unfold in the full movie.

The trailer also provides a glimpse into Akash’s family life, suggesting deeper layers to his character and his relationships. It hints at the protagonist grappling with both personal and external conflicts, adding a layer of intensity to the narrative.

Premistava, distributed by Mythri Movie Distributors LLP, will be released in Telugu on January 30, 2025. The film also stars R Sarathkumar, Prabhu, and Khushbu Sundar in pivotal roles.
