Vennela Kishore is playing the title role in the crime thriller ‘Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes’. Written and directed by writer Mohan. Ananya Nagalla and Seeya Gautham are playing key roles in this film, presented by Lasya Reddy, and produced by Vennapusa Ramana Reddy under the banner of Sri Ganapathi Cinemas. The teaser trailer songs that have already been released have created a good buzz. Vamsi Nandipati, who has achieved success with the films Ka, Polimera 2, and Committee Kurrollu, is releasing this film. The film will be released in theaters on December 25. On this occasion, heroine Ananya Nagalla shared the features of the film in a press conference.

What elements attracted you to the story of ‘Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes’?
-I have not heard such a story till now. When Mohan told the story, it felt very new. When an incident happens, there is a different perspective from each person’s point of view. I found it very interesting to take the story like this. As soon as I heard the story, I said okay. This is a very different story. This film will be a good Christmas gift for 100% of the audience.

What is the title justification?
In this, the detective’s mother’s name is Sharmilamma, his father’s name is Lokanath, and his name is Om Prakash. The first letter of these three names is called Sherlock Holmes. In Telugu, when we think of a detective movie, Chiranjeevi’s Chantabhai comes to mind. That is why we have put that tag so that everyone can connect.

About your role?
My character’s name in this is Bhramaramba. My role in the story is very good. A role that has not been done so far. Also, it is an extraordinary story. Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi went to Sriperumbudur on the same day after finishing his Vizag tour and died there. When a big incident happens, no one pays attention to small incidents. On the same day, a case happened. If that case is like a string, the story will be engaging with many twists and turns.

-It was a good experience acting with Ravi Teja in this, there is a zeal among the newcomers. They tried a lot to make the scene better. I liked it a lot. There is a cute love story in this. There is all the thrill and suspense.

About music?
-The three songs released so far have become chartbusters, and the song Srikakulam has been well connected. The Love Story song has also been very well received.

You worked with Pawan Kalyan, right? What kind of compliments did he give you?
-You are doing very well while doing the court scene. You have a lot of emotional quotient and you can see real pain. I felt very happy about that.

Do you have any plans to make female-oriented films?
-I am already making a female-oriented film in Telugu as well as Hindi.

What kind of suggestions did Vamsi Nandipati give?
-Vamsi Nandipati gave many important suggestions for the film. They helped the film a lot.

-Producer Ramana Reddy garu has provided everything needed for the film. This film is the best experience for me. Director Mohan garu has a very clear thought.

Are you happy with your journey?
-I am very happy. I am getting continuous work. Recently, the movie Pottel received good praise. After this movie, I got good stories. I have signed a couple of movies.
