Mass hero Vishal starrer mass action entertainer ‘Pandem Kodi 2’ is all set to release in a grand manner on October 18 as Dasara treat. This is Vishal’s 25th film. The trailer launch event of ‘Pandem Kodi 2’ was held in Hyderabad on Saturday, i.e. on September 29. Narayandas of Asian Films has launched the trailer.

Tagore Madhu as presenter, ‘Pandem Kodi 2’ is being produced under Vishal Film Factory, Lyca Productions and Pen Studios banners. N Linguswamy is the director. In the past, Vishal and N Linguswamy’s combination has delivered a super duper hit film ‘Pandem Kodi’ and it stood as turning point in Vishal’s career. ‘Pandem Kodi 2’ is being made as a sequel to that film.

Speaking at the trailer launch event, Vishal said, “With ‘Pandem Kodi 2’ I have completed 25 films with the blessings of my parents, brother Vishal Krishna and audience. Post the super success of ‘Pandem Kodi’ in Tamil, many top directors and producers approached my father for the remake rights. But my father softly rejected the offers and released the film in Telugu and made a mark for me as hero in Telugu too. Telugu audience, who always encourage films with potential content, continuing to encourage me. I am thankful to Telugu audience. I have worked with excellent artists and technicians for all films in my career. Linguswamy has carved a mass hero image for me with ‘Pandem Kodi’. Producers are the heart and soul to the film. ‘Pandem Kodi 2’ is the sequel coming after 13 years. It will be in the next level in terms of making. Yuvan Shankar Raja has given extraordinary music. I am thankful to Lyca Productions, Jayantilal Gada and Tagore Madhu. Keerthy Suresh, who has given extraordinary performance in ‘Mahanati’, has played an amazing role. She played action sequences as well. If I have to do ‘Pandem Kodi 3’, the heroine would be Keerthy Suresh again. People would recall Varalakshmi’s character after stepping out of theatres.
