It was this 22 year old video jokey that hosted the event of ESI hospital unveiling at Coimbatore by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Hosting the Prime Minister’s visit would remain one of the most exciting moments of my life”, she says. Pujitha has been wielding the mike since her teens.
“I vaguely remember my first show. I just kick started my carrer in a city-based channel as an anchor and after that i just let myself go with the flow,” she recalls. After performing in a Tamil album song she got an offer to act in “Deepavali Thuppaki” where she has played the role of heroine’s friend. Acting, dancing and mimicry have been serious hobbies for her since childhood. So far she has hosted over 100 shows and ads. She can fluently speak read and write Hindi, English, Tamil and Sanskrit. She also speaks Telugu and is now learning Kannada also.

Pujitha has worked as anchor for the launch of Fiat Abarth Punto, Yamaha and Honda. She has modeled for home appliances brands. She not only has sweet voice and style, but her words are loaded with substance and she won the second place in the oratorical competition organised by the Tamil Nadu Stat Commission on Women’s Day about two years ago. Her mother is ex-principal of Kidzee school and her father is an ex-army officer. She travels across the country for her shows, but nothing like home and Coimbatore, she smiles.
