2018 is a lucky year for actor Eesha Rebba. After playing Radha in Awe, she has signed three back-to-back projects this year. Having made her debut as actor with Anthaku Mundhu Aa Taruvatha in 2013 has not acted in more than five films till now.

One among those three projects is Brand Babu, which is releasing next week. Eesha is one among the few Telugu-speaking actors who are trying to make their mark in the industry.
Brand Babu is all about a family which is obsessed with brands and the only lad of the house falls in love with their maid. Doesn’t this sound interesting? The film has been in buzz since its launch for its concept, and Eesha says that she liked the way her role was shaped and so accepted the movie.

The film is directed by actor-turned-director Prabhakar whereas the credit of the story and idea goes to director Maruthi who is known for stories like this.

“When one of their relatives passes away, the mother of the hero keeps weeping. The hero comes and tells his mother not to cry as it seems like belittling their brand value. So obsessed is the family about brands. The film has comedy, sentiments, and emotions and, more than anything, it has a heart-touching love story too,” says the Darsakudu actor.

The comedy will entertain the audience the most, feels Eesha and thanks Maruthi “for making such good films”. His last film Mahanubhavudu was also a blockbuster hit.

We have reported earlier that Eesha is roped in as second lead for Aravinda Sametha… and also that she is playing the ex-girlfriend of Tarak. Confirming the news, she says: “It was very nice working with Tarak. I completed the first schedule and second will go on floors next month. I’ll be playing a rebellious character and it’s kind of tomboyish. It has some shades of my real life too,” adds Eesha, who is playing the lead in Sumanth’s next film Subramanyapuram.
It is quite common that gossips and rumours are part of actors’ life and when asked how she reacts to them, Eesha says that she wakes up to many such surprises which leave them shocked. “Sometimes, I laugh at such news and at other times, I’m least bothered about them,” she concludes.

Music director JB has composed the music for the film while M Sukumar handled the cinematography. Sumanth Sailendra has produced the film under his home banner Shree Shailendra Productions. Murali Sharma, Pujitha Ponnada, Raja Ravindra and Satyam Rajesh are playing key roles in the film.
