Former MP Subbarami Reddy graced the event as the chief guest. Kona Venkat, Rojaramani, Eesha Rebba, general secretary B Ramakrishna, Sivareddy, Kalakeya Prabhakar, vice chairman DY Chowdary, N Sriramulu, Kavitha and Vizag Prasad and some others were present at the ceremony. Artists and technicians, who bring the magic on the big screen by staying behind the screens were present at the award ceremony. T Subbarami Reddy congratulated Cinegoers Association for organising awards presentation since 49 years without interruption. Music director Sai Karthik expressed his happiness for receiving his first award and said that it is all because of the support of his parents. Cinematographer Senthil Kumar dedicated his award to his mother. Cinegoers President Vadakancheri also graced the event. Chiranjeevi got Best Actor award for the film Khiladi No. 150 while Prabhas won the award in the Universal Hero category. Rana Daggubati won Best Villain award for Baahubali 2 while Dil Raju won Best Sensational Producer award.
