With just days to go before its worldwide theatrical release, the promotional blitz for the mythological adventure epic “Nagabandham” continues at full pace — and Nabha Natesh is making every appearance count. Rust Printed Artisan Drape Saree

Nabha Natesh chose a richly printed saree in a deep rust and burnt-orange base, featuring an intricate all-over print in a Kalamkari or Ajrakh-inspired style — dense, traditional folk art motifs in orange, teal-navy, red, and gold spread across the fabric in a pattern that feels both deeply Indian and artistically sophisticated. The saree had a subtle gold sequin border running along its edges, and the overall effect was of a heritage textile brought to life — the kind of artisan-inspired print that’s currently one of the biggest trends in South Indian celebrity promotional fashion, thanks to its ability to look simultaneously traditional and editorial.

Mirror-Work Masterpiece Blouse

The true showstopper of this look was the elbow-sleeve blouse in red, featuring extraordinarily dense zardozi and mirror-work embroidery — a riot of gold threadwork, sheesha mirror embellishments, and multi-coloured thread detailing in pink, magenta, and yellow, centered around a large sunburst or mandala motif. The deep V-neckline added a bold, fashion-forward edge to the construction, while the sleeve ends were finished with the same mirror-work border.

She accessorized with a pair of long, multi-strand gold tassel drop earrings with pearl drops at the tips — a choice that perfectly complemented the antique, heritage quality of the printed saree and embroidered blouse. A simple, barely-there gold pendant necklace at the collarbone kept the neckline clean and let the V-neck blouse take focus. She wore her hair in big, voluminous loose waves swept generously to one side — a high-impact, red-carpet-worthy hairstyle that framed her face beautifully and added lushness to the overall look.

About Nagabandham

“Nagabandham — The Secret Treasure” is a pan-Indian mythological adventure thriller directed by Abhishek Nama and produced by Kishore Annapureddy under the Abhishek Pictures and NIK Studios banners. The film stars Virat Karrna and Nabha Natesh in the lead roles, with a rich ensemble cast that includes Iswarya Menon, Daksha Nagarkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, Rishabh Sawhney, Garuda Ram, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma, and Anasuya Bharadwaj. The story journeys through the ancient and enigmatic ritual of Nagabandham — a sacred tradition tied to India’s legendary Vishnu temples — weaving together mythological adventure, tribal war sequences, large-scale VFX, and breathtaking underwater action choreography. The film is set for worldwide theatrical release on July 3, 2026, with Amazon Prime Video having secured the OTT streaming rights and Star Maa acquiring the Telugu satellite rights, both strong indicators of the commercial confidence behind the project.

Nabha Natesh speaks about Nagabandham

The film will be released worldwide on July 3. On this occasion, heroine Nabha Natesh shared the features of the film in a press conference.

What is your role going to be like in Nagabandha?
-I have not done such a role till now. In this, I will be seen in the role of Parvati. She is a Vedic student. Her role will be very strong emotionally. She is a personality who will stand up for her family and love at any cost. My role will be very crucial in the story. Every decision Parvati takes will affect the story. The audience will definitely be surprised by my role.

There is a very grandly shot dance number in it… Tell me about it?
-Doing that song was a truly amazing experience. The song was choreographed by master Ganesh Acharya with about 5,000 dancers. It also includes classical dance. That song really looks amazing on the big screen. I have never done such a song before. It was a very new experience for me.

-Technically, shooting the song on such a large canvas was a challenge. It was not just a dance song… the director and choreographer were advised in advance that it should also have a sense of devotion. The set set up for the song really reminds us of a festive atmosphere. It was like all the gopis celebrating together happily in Brindavan, and that was the feeling I had while shooting the song on that set. The art direction was amazing.

-The Anantha Padmanabhaswamy temple set built for this film really gives the feeling of going inside the temple. Everyone who saw that set was amazed. The visuals will definitely mesmerize the audience as well.

About director Abhishek Nama garu?
-Abhishek garu has a very clear vision. He has imagined this story in a very wonderful way. He takes great care in everything. Costumes, hairstyle… every little thing has been designed in great detail.

-I was mesmerized when Abhishek Garu narrated the story. He prepared a storyboard for every scene. He sketched out the actions and reactions of every character in advance. The pre-production work he did was amazing. Even during the shooting, every scene was shot wonderfully. Hats off to his vision. I am also eagerly waiting to watch this film like the audience.

-It took me about two hours to get ready for my role in this film. A lot of care was taken with each costume. I enjoyed this shoot a lot. It is very rare to get the opportunity to act in such films.

-Around ten huge sets have been erected for this film. Each set is different from each other. Acting in such a huge film is a great experience for me as an actress. Along with the song ‘Namore’ in Nagabandham, I have also done another folk song. Both these songs are visually very grand.

-While shooting on the sets of Ananta Padmanabhaswamy temple, we all worked with a lot of discipline. We were completely vegetarian. Also, we would appoint a priest there and perform pujas every day before we would start shooting.

Will there be romance in your role?
– There will be romance. But there are more important aspects in my role than that. They will bring a key turn to the story. The audience will definitely be surprised. I will appear in a role that will strengthen the story. This is a completely different role from the roles I have played so far. I am very proud to have played this role.

About the producers?
Despite being their first film, they produced this film with a huge budget of around Rs. 110 crores with confidence in the content. They did not compromise on anything and made the film according to the content.
The promotions were also very innovative. The idea of Anantha Padmanabhaswamy Rath Yatra is very special. Thousands of devotees are participating in the Yatra. The response there is amazing. Even though it is their first film, it is not an ordinary thing to produce and promote it on such a grand scale.

-The VFX work in this movie feels very new and real. Everyone is already praising the VFX. The output is truly amazing.

About Virat Karna?
-Virat Karna is a very passionate and dedicated actor. This doesn’t feel like his second film. He acted like a very experienced actor. He worked hard for this film. The hard work he put in is clearly visible on screen. Acting with Virat was a great experience.

What about DOP Soundar Rajan?
Soundar Rajan has given some amazing visuals. He is very energetic. The audience is truly amazed by the visuals. Every frame is mesmerizing.

The reason why you didn’t do films so fast after ‘iSmart Shankar’?
-I had a small accident. Due to which I injured my shoulder. Due to that, I took a break for about a year and a half. I should do films only when I am completely strong physically and mentally. I feel that I can do justice to the character only when I appear on screen with energy. That is why I started acting again only after I fully recovered.

‘Nagabandham’ shooting experience?
-Nagabandham was a very large-scale film. There were around 200 people shooting every day. The scale of the film kept increasing with each schedule. I learned with this film that anything can be achieved with teamwork.

You are also playing a key role in Swayambhu, right?
-Yes. It is a great pleasure to act in two such huge films. Both of these are films that are worth watching by audiences across the country and the world. I am very proud to be a part of two such films. As an actress, I am very satisfied.
