Rashi Singh Gorgeous in Red Floral Salwar Suit at Gossip Press Meet

Rashi Singh, who is fast becoming one of Tollywood’s most reliable promotional fashion stars, stepped out in a refreshingly different outfit choice for the press meet of her upcoming social drama “Gossip” — a richly embroidered deep-red salwar suit that balanced traditional charm with contemporary styling. Swapping her signature sarees for an elegant ethnic suit, she brought understated festive glamour to the promotional circuit ahead of the film’s June 26 release.

Deep Maroon Floral Embroidered Salwar Suit

For the press meet, Rashi Singh chose a beautifully crafted sleeveless salwar kurta in rich maroon, covered from neckline to hemline with intricate multi-coloured floral embroidery featuring blooms in cream, gold, teal, orange, and blue — a vibrant yet cohesive palette that gave the otherwise deep-toned outfit a garden-fresh, festive character. The neckline was finished with a delicate pearl and sequin border, while the hemline carried a wide geometric zardozi-style gold embroidered band that added a luxurious, structured finish to the flowing kurta.

The Pants: Matching Cigarette-Cut Trousers

She paired the kurta with matching maroon cigarette-cut trousers in the same floral fabric, creating a sleek, co-ordinated look from top to bottom. The slim-fit trouser silhouette elongated her frame and gave the suit a contemporary, event-ready edge over a traditional churidar — a styling choice that’s increasingly popular among South Indian actresses opting for salwar sets at promotional appearances.

The Dupatta: Sheer Red Organza with Gold Border

A sheer red organza dupatta with a delicate gold sequin border was draped elegantly over one shoulder, completing the look without adding visual heaviness. The dupatta’s translucency allowed the embroidery of the kurta and pants to stay visible, keeping the ensemble light and layered rather than overdone.

Rashi Singh is playing the lead role in the upcoming film Gossip, directed by debutant Vaibhav Koundinya and produced by Yethi Remella. The film is all set to hit theatres on June 26. Along with Rashi Singh, the film also features Mahesh Yadlapalli, Ravi Varma, Prudhvi, Gurucharan and others. The trailer of the film was unveiled on Monday.

Talking about the film, Rashi Singh said that she is thankful for the constant support she has been receiving for her films. “Gossip is a very special film for me. It is a story that shows how even a small gossip can completely turn a person’s life upside down. Since this is my first female-led film, I feel a lot of responsibility and also a little nervous,” said Rashi.

In the film, Rashi plays Ajantha, a girl who dreams of becoming a musician and wants to lead a happy life. However, one unwanted gossip changes her life completely and brings many challenges.

“I would like to specially thank director Vaibhav garu for trusting me and giving me this opportunity. He had more confidence in me than I had in myself. Producer Yethi garu also provided all the necessary support and resources for the film without compromising anywhere,” she said.

Praising the technical team, Rashi said, “Our DOP Satish garu, co-actors, and technicians worked very hard for this film. In this movie, I not only explored myself as an actor but also tried something new with my dance. I thank Falguni Master and Sunil Master for their support.”
