Iswarya Menon turned up the glamour at the trailer launch of the ambitious pan-Indian mythological thriller “Nagabandham,” stepping onto the red carpet in a stunning deep-purple lehenga that perfectly matched the grandeur of the occasion.
Iswarya Menon chose a royal purple georgette lehenga for the trailer launch, with the full, heavily pleated skirt falling in elegant waves down to the floor. The lehenga featured a delicate silver embroidered border at the hemline and a subtle scattered embellishment throughout the fabric, adding just the right amount of shimmer under event lighting without overpowering the richness of the deep purple base colour.
The showstopper element of the look was undoubtedly the structured, sleeveless sweetheart-neck corset blouse in the same purple tone. The blouse featured intricate silver zardozi and stone embroidery running along the shoulder straps and edges, with a large circular polki-style brooch detailing on one shoulder that added a luxurious, jewellery-like finish to the blouse itself. This kind of statement-shoulder blouse design is rapidly trending in South Indian ethnic fashion, especially for high-profile event appearances.
She carried a sheer, matching purple net dupatta draped elegantly over one side, edged with the same silver embroidered border as the lehenga skirt — creating a seamlessly cohesive, head-to-toe look that felt effortlessly put together.
Iswarya Menon styled her purple lehenga with classic antique gold jhumka earrings, a large gemstone cocktail ring, and stacked bangles — all in warm gold tones that contrasted beautifully against the cool purple palette of her outfit. Her makeup featured warm rose-toned eyeshadow, defined brows, a soft shimmer highlight, and a peachy-nude lip — a combination that complemented the warm purple tones of her outfit and gave her skin a beautiful glow under the dramatic red event lighting.
“Nagabandham — The Secret Treasure” is a pan-Indian mythological adventure thriller directed by Abhishek Nama and produced by Kishore Annapureddy under the Abhishek Pictures and NIK Studios banners. The film stars Virat Karrna and Nabha Natesh in the lead roles, with Iswarya Menon playing an important supporting role alongside a star-studded ensemble that includes Daksha Nagarkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, Rishabh Sawhney, Garuda Ram, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma, and Anasuya Bharadwaj. The story explores the enigmatic ritual of Nagabandham tied to ancient Vishnu temples across India, uncovering hidden mysteries and sacred secrets through a mix of mythological adventure, tribal war sequences, underwater action choreography, and large-scale VFX. The film is set for worldwide theatrical release on July 3, 2026, with Amazon Prime Video having acquired the OTT streaming rights and Star Maa securing the Telugu satellite rights — a strong indicator of the scale and commercial confidence behind the project.
