As she put it, once she heard it was a Singeetham film, she immediately wanted to audition — and eventually got selected. Her character, she explains, is a strong villain with multiple shades, one that audiences will get to see in an entertaining and distinctive new light.

The Film’s Extraordinary Concept — A World Where Everything is Musical

Shalini was enthusiastic in describing the film’s genuinely one-of-a-kind premise. Sing Geetham is not simply a film with songs — it is a film where music is the language of the world. Set in a fictional village called Kuberapuram, the story revolves around a fascinating central question: why do the people of this village communicate entirely through songs? Everything in the film is musical, she explained — even dialogues flow like songs.
