Superstar Krishna’s grandson and superstar Mahesh Babu’s nephew Ashok Galla is all set to entertain with his second movie ‘Devaki Nandana Vasudeva’. The film is directed by Arjun Jandhyala, who scored a hit with Guna 369. Narrated by Prashant Varma. Manasa Varanasi is playing the heroine. Somineni is produced by Balakrishna under the banner of Lalithambika Productions under the banner of Nallapaneni Yamini. The teaser, trailer and songs have already created a good buzz about the movie. The movie will hit theaters on November 22. On this occasion, heroine Manasa shared the features of the film in a Varanasi press conference.

Tell us about your background?
I was born in Hyderabad. I studied in Malaysia till tenth class. I did engineering in Hyderabad. I worked in a corporate. Later I participated in Miss India pageants. I won the Miss India title. I have represented India in Miss World competitions. Want to get a job later? Want to take this opportunity further? While thinking that, I went to movie workshops. A passion for cinema was born there. That’s where I got confidence in acting. I have given some additions. Learning about cinema. It was a new world for me.

It is a great pleasure to come before the audience with a film like Devaki Nandana Vasudeva. It is a commercial divine thriller. As a debut actor, I am very lucky to work with this unit. I am very excited for this movie.

How is your character going to be in this?
My character name is Satyabhama. She is a Vizianagaram girl. This movie will be in the background of Vizianagaram. Satyabhama is a very playful, loving, mysterious girl. A girl who stands bravely no matter what the difficulty. This is my personal favorite character. My role in the story is very strong. I have a very key role in the story.

This is your first film.. What were the challenges you faced in it?
The first movie is always a challenge. The words used on the sets, the words used by the director, the language of the film should be learned on the spot. Be spontaneous. Also Satya Bhama is a village girl. Learning that body language and slang was also challenging. I enjoyed this process a lot. It’s a roller coaster ride. Big learning experience for me. I learned many things.

About working experience with Ashok?
-Ashok is very professional. Cinema means a lot of passion. It was a pleasure to work with him. They used to share many things on the sets. He used to tell the things he learned from Mahesh. Working with him was truly a wonderful experience.

What is your favorite element in this story?
My mind was blown as soon as I heard this story. This is a very interesting story. I feel very lucky to get such a story and character for a debut actor. Satyabhama’s character will be remembered forever.

About the music?
Bheems gave the music. The movie was taken to another level with the music. The songs have already become super hits. Beams was a very passionate composer. He composed many beautiful numbers.

There are four songs in total. Anyway, gold songs are my favorite. I learned Bharatanatyam. Bharatanatyam brings grace automatically. Bangaram mass song. Vijay choreographed it very well. The dance moments are getting an amazing response.

About the production house?
Balakrishna is a very passionate producer. Very supportive. This story is so grand because of him. I learned a lot from the production house.

What are your favorite genres?
Romance. Comedy, mystery thriller are my favorite genres. If the story is good, then you are ready to make a movie of any genre.

Have you loved movies since childhood?
Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna… I used to watch everyone’s movies. I have been watching more movies for the past four years.

I am doing a film called ‘Couple Friendly’ in Telugu and Tamil under UV Creation.
