Sri Simha Koduri plays a petty thief in ‘Dongalunnaru Jagratha’, whose trailer was today released by producers D Suresh Babu and Sunitha Tati.

New director Satish Tripura casts the male lead in the role of a greedy young man who hopes to steal a high-end car, only to get trapped inside it. No matter how much he tries, he can’t find an escape.

There is a reason why the movie has been billed as a survival thriller. Not only can the protagonist find an escape route, he is also running out of time because a ticking time bomb is waiting to explode. A mystery caller, probably played by Samuthirakani, attempts to add a tinge of ominosity.

Preethi Asrani, who is playing the male lead’s girlfriend, is part of the cast. With music by Kaala Bhairava, the film has editing by Garry BH.

The survival thriller will arrive at the cinemas on September 23.
