Yukti Thareja stills at her upcoming Telugu movie Rangabali interview.

Yukti Tareja is playing the female lead in Rangabali starring opposite Naga Shaurya. The teaser, theatrical trailer and songs of this movie got a tremendous response. Heroine Yukti Tareja shared the special features of ‘Rangabali’ in a press conference in view of its release on 7th July.

How did you get into the Rangabali project?
Director Pawan auditioned for the role in this film. First the look test was done. Then they gave me two scenes and told me to act. They selected me only after they were convinced that I would be suitable for this role. This is my first Telugu movie. I feel lucky to have worked with Nagashaurya in a good production company for my first film. I learned a lot from this movie.

Tell us about your role in it?
He appears as a medical student in this. My character name is Sahaja. He has a very cool character. As the name suggests, it is very natural.

How was it working with Nagashaurya?
I know about the movies done by Nagashaurya. I heard songs in his movies. It was a great experience working with him. Nagashaurya is a great co-star. A good hearted person. Very sporty. Excellent actor.

What were the challenges you faced in this film?
My mother tongue is Hindi. Telugu definitely has a linguistic challenge. Learning and speaking large paragraph graph dialogues seemed a bit of a challenge. A lot of thanks to the direction team in this regard. Helped a lot. Also director Pawan used to give the script beforehand. It gives me an understanding of the scene. Pawan has shot the movie very well.

Tell us about your background?
Ours is Haryana. I completed my graduation from Delhi University. I joined a dance school while still in college. I participated in many dance competitions. I also won the Delhi Fresh Face Competition. Then I started modeling. Later I gave acting auditions. The song Lut Guy brought him a good name. That’s how this journey started.

Your favorite hero in Telugu? Heroine?
My favorite hero in Telugu is Allu Arjun. He loves his dancing. His dancing is hard to match. But we want to dance together. Also, I like Anushka Shetty in heroines.

Are you doing new movies in Telugu?
I am listening to some stories. I will sign after this film.
