Sonakshi Verma got limelight of the Tollywood in 2019 with Telugu movie ‘ugly’ through which she marked her debut in the Telugu industry. Sonakshi has also been part of some famous web series that is telecasted on Zee5 and other platforms. She has acted predominantly in web series like ‘Atu class itu mass’, ‘Chitra Vichitram’, ‘Baker and beauty’ etc. The Jabalpur born actress has also been a part of many movies and done different kinds of roles in many web series. Initially, she was a software engineer and has working experience while working with both Wipro and Infosys.

Later she decided to listen to her heart and follow her dreams and passion for becoming an actress. She has initially started acting for web series and several commercial advertisements. She was also a member of the prominent theatre group ‘The unknown Pen’ since June 2019. She is also known as a Trained Kathak Dancer in which she has been training for a long. She loves dancing and can perform different dance forms like Folk dances, Western dance, and Bollywood. She has also been a part of movies like ‘Prema Pipasi’, which was a 2019 hit, Bomma Borusu, Ammayi Premalo Padithe, Mismatch, and short films like Sunanda.
