Teaser of Surya Teja, Sai Dhanshika, Simran and Sony Charishta starrer ‘Mela’ has been unveiled on April 21 at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. Actor Ali and S Gopal Reddy graced the event and launched the teaser. Debutant Kiran Sripuram is making this Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Mamidi Venkata Lakshmi as presenter, Santhosh K Konka is producing the film under Konka Productions and PSP Films banners.

Speaking on the occasion, Ali said, “Director Kiran has entered the film industry with the aim to become an actor. But it didn’t happen and therefore turned into writer. Later, he turned producer and now with ‘Mela’ he turned director. Though Surya Teja was introduced to film industry through ‘Vinayakudu’, I wish he will reach the next level through this film. The film will be as good as the title. The teaser showcases just 10% of the film. ‘Mela’ will be wonderful. I will audience will encourage the team by making the film a big success.”

Director Kiran Sripuram said, “I am thankful to the producers of ‘Mela’ for supporting an amazing story. The film will run in three variations. Each and every artist and technician in the team have kept their heart and soul for the good outcome of the film. We are going forward with the support given by CelebKonect. We are thankful to them.”

On this occasion, hero Surya Teja said, “Many senior artists have acted in the film. My role in the film will have three variations. You will see variety characterisations in the film. ‘Mela’ is a murder mystery with different genre touch. I wish Telugu audience will encourage us by making the film success. I strongly condemn the derogatory comments made by an actor on Pawan Kalyan. I will support Pawan Kalyan”

Heroine Simran said, “This is my first film. All the team members have given lot of support to me. I am extremely confident that ‘Mela’ which has a gripping story will become big hit.”
