Shirley Setia to make Tollywood debut opposite Naga Shaurya

Shirley Setia, singer and actress from Auckland is set to star opposite actor Naga Shaurya in a film, which will mark her entry into Telugu cinema. The yet-to-be-titled movie will be directed by Aneesh Krishna.
The 25-year-old singer-actor, who recently made her acting debut with Netflix’s “Maska”, shared the news in a post on Twitter.

“I am super excited to announce my launch in the Telugu film industry with Naga Shaurya, directed by #AneeshKrishna and produced by #Ushamulpuri Garu under banner Ira Creations,” Setia announced on her Instagram account.
Shirley got featured in the Forbes Magazine, where she was referred to as “Bollywood’s Next Big Singing Sensation.She made her film debut with Maska which released on Netflix on 27 March 2020 and will be making her Bollywood film debut with Nikamma.

Talking about her acting debut, the YouTube sensation Shirley Setia had said, “There’s so much to do and explore in life. I am glad that Indian industry accepted me and welcomed with open arms. I agree it was not easy for me to become an online sensation…there was a lot of hard work involved, but still there is a long way to go. I have so much to learn and experience. My real journey has just started.”

Actor Naga Shaurya and the talented Director Aneesh Krishna’s rom-com flick from Ira Creations was launched recently and the regular filming will commence from December.
Touted to be a surpassing family entertainer, the film will be produced by Usha Mulpuri. For Director Aneesh Krishna, this will be his third feature film.

Mahati Swara Sagar renders tunes for this film, while Sai Sriram handles cinematography.
