Suvarna Sundari is one of the all time classics in Telugu Cinema, directed by Vedantam Raghavaiah, starring Akkineni Nageshwara Rao and Anjali Devi, which was released in 1957. Interestingly another upcoming film of same title ‘Suvarna Sundari’ is progressing at brisk pace. Surya MSN is helming and producing this bilingual- Kannada and Telugu, film that dates back to 600 years ago Sri Krishnadevaraya era. Shamna Kasim (Poorna), who made her mark in Sandalwood with the 2009 hit Josh, is playing the female lead role.
