Raveena Tandon’s daughter and Bollywood debutante Rasha Thadani stepped into her Telugu debut promotions with effortless charm, choosing a vibrant cobalt blue Bandhani print kurta set for her Srinivasa Mangapuram promotional appearances that was as youthful and refreshing as the film’s own story. Warm, traditional, and deeply rooted in Indian craft aesthetics, the outfit immediately signalled that Rasha understands the Telugu audience and is approaching this debut with genuine warmth rather than calculated star-kid gloss.

Rasha Thadani made her Bollywood debut with the period action film “Azaad” (2025) opposite Ajay Devgn and Aaman Devgn, and is now crossing over into Telugu cinema with Srinivasa Mangapuram — a double debut of sorts, landing her in one of the most talked-about launch vehicles in the Telugu film industry this year. Her pairing opposite Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni has generated considerable curiosity, and early teasers have showcased strong on-screen chemistry between the two debutants. Playing the character “Manga,” Rasha brings a fresh face and a natural ease to a role rooted in the warmth and spirit of Tirupati’s cultural landscape.

Rasha Thadani’s promotional look is a beautifully chosen expression of Indian craft tradition — a rich cobalt-indigo blue kurta set in the classic Bandhani (tie-dye) print, featuring the characteristic small square and circle dot pattern scattered across the fabric in crisp white and silver, creating a texture-rich surface that catches the light with subtle depth. The Bandhani print has deep roots in Rajasthani and Gujarati textile traditions, and its use in promotional fashion for a film set in a deeply traditional temple town like Tirupati feels both authentic and thoughtfully appropriate.

The kurta features a V-neckline finished with an intricately embroidered silver zari yoke — a shield-shaped panel featuring delicate leaf, floral, and geometric thread motifs in silver and gold that give the neckline a festive, traditional richness. Three-quarter sleeves complete the silhouette, making it a practical yet event-ready choice for a daytime promotional appearance.

She paired the kurta with matching straight-cut trousers in the same Bandhani fabric — a seamlessly co-ordinated choice — and a sheer blue organza dupatta with the same Bandhani print and a silver zari border, draped softly over one shoulder. The complete tone-on-tone set in vibrant cobalt blue reads as polished and put-together while still feeling young and accessible.
Rasha kept the jewellery light and personal — large oxidized silver dome jhumka earrings with pearl drops that complemented the cool silver tones of the embroidery beautifully. On her wrist, she wore a stack of black thread friendship-style bracelets and bands
“Srinivasa Mangapuram” is directed by Ajay Bhupathi — the fiercely talented filmmaker behind RX 100 and the acclaimed Mangalavaram — and produced by P. Kiran under Chandamama Kathalu Pictures, presented by celebrated producer Ashwini Dutt. The film stars debutants Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni and Rasha Thadani in the lead roles, with Mohan Babu playing the antagonist, and features music composed by GV Prakash Kumar, with cinematography by Jayakrishna Gummadi. Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni is the nephew of Superstar Mahesh Babu, grandson of legendary actor Krishna, and son of the late Ramesh Babu — making his screen debut with this film in what is one of the most eagerly awaited star-kid launches in recent Tollywood history. Set in the sacred temple town of Tirupati, the story follows Vasu Babu and Manga — friends who become lovers and live life with infectious joy, until an unexpected conflict shatters their paradise. Refusing to leave Tirupati without Manga, Vasu Babu chooses to fight for his love at any cost. Ajay Bhupathi appears to have crafted a film that balances romance, emotion, and high-voltage action while retaining the raw intensity that has become synonymous with his filmmaking. Srinivasa Mangapuram releases worldwide on July 30, 2026 — a clear field with no major competition, giving the film an ideal window to find its audience.
On this occasion, heroine Rasha Thadani shared the features of the film at a press conference.
