The young female lead in the film, Ramya Pasupuleti had a few interesting tidbits on the film as she opined that her character in this comedy drama would make everyone laugh.
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I have been doing ad films since the time I was four years old. I worked as a child artist in Anushka’s Panchakshari. I did a role in Mahesh Babu’s Spyder as well. Then I completed my bachelor’s and then returned to acting. I opine Instagram helped me on the path as my content got a wider reach here.
How did you come onboard for Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam?
Director Lakshman Karya apparently saw me on Instagram and later a member of the team auditioned me. I got selected and it has been happy going ever after.
What about the film attracted you the most?
Making people laugh is a tough trait and this film offered me an opportunity to make it happen. My character in the film makes everyone laugh. I am confident that everyone who watches the film enjoys my character in it.
Tell us about your character?
I play an 18-year-old in the film and if you observe the Madam Sir Madam song, you can see that I am presented in multiple avatars. Our lead pair in the film have a cute and cringe love story, it is going to be fun.
Working experience with Ankith Koyya?
He is an amazing co-actor and he is a helpful person at heart. He is a wonderful actor as well. I feel that the scenes featuring the two of us came out very well.
Were you expecting Madam Sir Madam Anthe song to trend so well?
Yeah, I was expecting it to do well. Our director Lakshman garu played me the tune and I liked it. But I hadn’t watched the full video song till a day before it got released. I semi knew that the song would anyway strike a chord with the audience after knowing that Sid Sriram was singing it.
You shared the screen with seniors and extremely experienced Rao Ramesh and Indraja, how was this experience?
I was scared at first but they both made me feel very comfortable with their warm nature. I later gained confidence. I don’t share much screen time with Indraja garu but from what I could see, she is a very pretty lady. She is a very nice and warm human being. Rao Ramesh garu is also a treat to work with.
