The much-awaited trailer of actress Lakshmi Manchu’s upcoming film ‘Wife of Ram’ was finally released on Friday, and the film promises to be an intense thriller. Tollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh attendant the event. Going by the trailer, Wife of Ram seems to be the story of a murder mystery, where Lakshmi Manchu, who plays the lead, investigates her husband’s murder.
“Nee mogudni champina vadi meeda nuvvu investigation chestunnavu ata…ante police kanna nuvvu baaga chestaava? (I heard you’re investigating your husband’s murder. Do you think you can do a better job than the police?,” a cop asks her in one of the scenes shown in the trailer.
That, in a sense, can tell you what to expect from Wife of Ram. A shell-shocked but determined wife who wants to find out who killed her husband, corrupt cops and the involvement of more dangerous players as Lakshmi stars putting the pieces together.

Directed by Vijay Yelakanti, Wife of Ram also features ‘Aadarsh Balakrishna’ and Priyadarshi in important roles.
