Veeranjaneyulu Vihara Yatra is the latest original release on ETV Win, which began streaming on August 14, 2024. Despite following a somewhat conventional storyline, the film garnered positive feedback, largely due to the strong performances by the lead actors.
Priya Vadlamani, who played the female lead, surprised audiences with her role in the film. Known for taking on glamorous characters in the past, Priya’s role in Veeranjaneyulu Vihara Yatra allowed her to truly demonstrate her acting abilities.
Her portrayal of a frustrated and annoyed lover earned widespread praise, showcasing her emotional range, something many hadn’t previously associated with her work. Reflecting on the experience, Priya expressed her joy at the reception: “For the first time, people are noticing my acting rather than my appearance. It feels great to be part of Veeranjaneyulu Vihara Yatra, and the response has been overwhelming.”
Directed by Anurag Palutla, the film features senior actors Naresh and Rag Mayur in key roles. Anurag’s direction particularly shines in scenes where Priya Vadlamani’s character confronts her personal challenges, with Naresh also receiving acclaim from the audience for his performance.
The story follows a family on a road trip to immerse the ashes of their patriarch, played by Brahmanandam. Along the way, unresolved conflicts arise as family members are forced to confront their egos and repair their strained relationships. The film’s aggressive promotion, coupled with growing word of mouth, has led to an increase in viewership, according to Priya Vadlamani.
