Nandamuri Kalyanram’s new movie (NKR16) launched today morning with an official pooja ceremony in Ramana Naidu Studios, Hyderabad. Jr NTR was the chief guest for the movie launch event and he gave the first clap, Jr NTR’s father Harikrishna switched on the camera for muhurat shot.
Actresses Nivetha Thomas and Shalini Pandey are playing the female leads in this film. Guhan is directing the movie. East Coast Productions banner is producing this flick. Mollywood actress Nivetha, who made her Telugu debut with the 2016 movie Gentleman, won that year’s SIIMA Award for Best Debut Actress in Telugu and was also nominated for Best Actress at the Filmfare Awards. This is the first time Nivetha teams up with Kalyan Ram. As she is not doing glamorous roles these days, she might have ignored about her fitness. She was last seen in Awe! movie and appeared chubby in that film. Now she is getting ready to look the same in her upcoming movie as well. In the past, Ninnu Kori beauty Nivetha Thomas grabbed an opportunity to work with young Tiger NTR in Jai Lava Kusa movie.
She is gearing up to romance another Nandamuri Hero Kalyan Ram under the direction of Guhan. The movie got launched today and seeing the photos from this event Nivetha looked chubby which gave a shock to the fans.
Nivetha was excited about Hari Krishna’s presence. She wrote on social media that, “Ee project Harikrishna garu blessings tho start cheyyadam chala aanandhanga undhi.. and thank you @tarak9999 for being there! :)” (sic) and added, “And I begin my next! With Guhan sir directing us and a lovely team put together, we’re hoping to create a well crafted suspense thriller! @NANDAMURIKALYAN sir @ShaliniPandey_ @smkoneru sir, Sekhar Chandra, good luck to us 🙂 Let’s roll! #NKR16” (sic).

The Nandamuri Kalyan Ram movie that was launched by Jr NTR today will begin shoot from May 2. Directed by KV Guhan and featuring music by Shekhar Chandra, the film is said to be a riveting suspense thriller. The launch event was also graced by Hari Krishna, with the whole cast and crew present.
