The film explores her journey from a seemingly quiet and fragile girl to someone who discovers her inner strength.” Stepping Back in Time “Gangs of Godavari” is set in the 1990s, and Neha embraced the era’s distinct style. “The director referenced legendary actress Sobhana for inspiration,” she reveals. “From the kajal eyeliner to the saree draping and hairstyle, everything was meticulously recreated.” The Art of Subtlety Neha highlights the unique acting style required for the film. “The 1990s weren’t about over-the-top expressions,” she explains. “The acting was more internal and quiet, relying heavily on conveying emotions through subtle expressions. However, we also experienced moments of serendipity.
