Nandamuri Kalyan Ram who is riding high on the success of 118, launched the teaser for popular character artiste Sravan, Leona Lishoy and Arjun Reddy actress Jia Sharma’s Edhureetha, at Hyderabad. The film which is an emotional roller coaster drama, received a positive response for the first look poster released in January.

This film showcases am emotional relationship between a 40-year-old single middle-class father and his young son. The film also has some nostalgic value attached to it because the title reminds us of NTR’s 1975 classic hit Edureetha which was a remake of Hindi blockbuster movie, Amanush. Directed by Balamurugan, a protege of Vijay Milton of Goli Soda, Kadugu and 10 Endrathukulla, the movie’s teaser is out and it looks quite promising. Malayalam actress Leona Lishoy as the leading lady, the film has completed its production works and ready for release.

Edhureetha’ is a thorough entertainer directed by Balamurugan. Starring Shravan Raghavendra and Malayalam actress Leona as the lead pair, the film’s Teaser was on Thursday unveiled by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.

Speaking on the occasion, the film’s cast and crew members thanked the ‘118’ hero for launching the teaser.

It’s surely going to be one of my all-time favourites. I thank the director for believing in me. Thanks to this movie, I have come to know my strengths and flaws. Shravan’s performance will blow your mind away. It was an incredible team to work with on my very first Telugu movie.”
