The Bengaluru-born Kaashima Rafi says that she always wanted to become an actress. “During my college days, I played an active part in dramatic activities, and it’s a blessing that my dream of becoming an actress has been fulfilled,” she reveals, adding, “Since I am a trained classical dancer, I believe my expressive side will come in handy, especially during the emotional scenes.”
Talking about the films, the actress shares, “I feel thrilled to be part of one of the most happening industries (Tollywood). I played a college-goer in both my earlier films, and since this film is also a youthful entertainer, I believe my past experience will be of great help”. Kaashima is looking to take Telugu Cinema by surprise with her very own glamour and talent. She started her career with Tamil and Kannada films, which are yet to release. Still, she is able to convince Telugu Director, Ganukuntla Ramesh with her photos from Dada Saheb Phalke Awards event that concluded recently. He asked for an audition and things fell in place it seems. Her Tamil film, Kadambari and Kannada film, Jhan Jhana Jhan, are two different roles that showcase her acting talents and skills in expressing on screen it seems. She revealed that she is excited to see herself on Telugu screens as well.The director picked her out after he saw her photos taken at the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards South 2019, held in Hyderabad.
