Anjali stills in pink over coat outfit at Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi movie trailer launch.
In 2014, Anjali’s film “Geethanjali” captivated audiences and achieved considerable success at the box office. Nine years later, the creators are back with a sequel titled “Geethanjali Malli Vachindi.” While the original was directed by Raj Kiran, the sequel is helmed by Shiva Turlapati. Notably, this marks Anjali’s 50th film.
The teaser for the sequel was unveiled today, promising a blend of horror and comedy, much like its predecessor. The narrative revolves around a film crew venturing into the supposedly haunted Sangeet Mahal without realizing the dangers lurking within. As they craft a story for their film, they are startled to find that their script mirrors the supernatural occurrences they encounter in the decrepit mansion.
The enigma surrounding Sangeet Mahal and the crew’s fate remain unanswered until the film’s release. Alongside Anjali, the cast includes Srinivas Reddy, Sunil, Satyam Rajesh, Satya, Shakalaka Shankar, Ali, Bramhaji, Ravi Shankar, and Rahul Madhav. Kona Venkat crafted the story, collaborating on the screenplay with Bhanu Bhogavarapu.
The teaser concludes with the revelation that the film is set to hit screens on March 22, 2024. MVV Satyanarayana and GV are financing this horror comedy project under the banners of MVV Cinema and Kona Film Corporation. Praveen Lakkaraju is responsible for composing the musical score.
