Mythri Movie Makers, a production house known for delivering high-budget entertainers, is also making waves with content-rich films. Their latest venture, 8 Vasanthalu, is a concept-driven film directed by Phanindra Narsetti, whose debut film Manu received critical acclaim worldwide.
The lead role in this film is played by Ananthika Sanilkumar, who gained fame through MAD. Her character, named Shuddhi Ayodhya, was introduced through a captivating first look poster that has sparked curiosity about the film.
Shuddhi Ayodhya is a multifaceted character—she’s a wise daughter, a loyal friend, a devoted lover, a passionate Martial Arts student, an inspiring writer, and above all, a graceful human being. The film 8 Vasanthalu chronicles Shuddhi’s transformative journey from a calm 19-year-old to an intense 27-year-old, spanning eight years filled with diverse experiences, emotions, and encounters. In essence, she is poetry in motion. The team plans to release a glimpse video of her character soon.
The filming of 8 Vasanthalu is progressing swiftly, with extensive shoots already completed in Ooty, Hyderabad, and Kanyakumari. The next phase will take the team to locations in Kashmir, Agra, and Varanasi to wrap up the production. Simultaneously, the editing work is also in progress.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, the film features Vishwanath Reddy as the cinematographer and music by Hesham Abdul Wahab. Aravind Mule serves as the production designer, Shashank Mali is the editor, and Babasai Kumar Mamidipalli is the executive producer.
