Amyra Dastur Latest Stills at Raju Gadu Movie Pre Release Function

Actor Raj Tarun will next be seen in another commercial pot boiler titled Raju Gadu which is being directed by Sanjana Reddy, a new comer. Said to be a comic-entertainer, Raju Gadu also stars Amyra Dastur as the love interest of Raj Tarun. Raju Gadu is gearing up for release on June 1st, 2018 worldwide locking horns with Nagarjuna’s Officer. The makers held a pre-release event of the film in Hyderabad which was graced by lead actors Raj Tarun and Amyra Dastur along with director Sanjana and producer Anil Sunkara.

The event was a fun-filled one with the young cast and crew sharing their experiences of working on the film and the fun they had shooting for it. Speaking at the event, lead actor Raj Tarun said, “I first would like to thank Rajendra Prasad sir for being so supportive to me always right from my initial days. I had my first fanboy moment with him and I awestruck when I first saw him for the first time on sets. Raju Gadu is my fifth film with Anil Sunkara sir and I hope we do a lot of films together. Talking about my director Sanjana, it didn’t look like it was her first film. She gives a lot of liberty to her artists which is required in a comedy genre.“

Debutante director Sanjana Reddy too spoke at the event and said, “It is really tough to get an opportunity to direct a film in the current situation and more so for women filmmakers. And I feel so grateful for getting this opportunity. I would like to thank my parents and my lead actor Raj Tarun and producer Anil Sunkara for this. One person who believed in this story right from the beginning is actor Raja Ravindra and I would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart. Had it not been for these three people, I wouldn’t have been here today. This team is like a family and I was a new entrant into it. And they never gave me a feeling that I was a newbie and made me feel very comfortable.”
