Akshata Sonawane in lehenga stills at her Tollywood debut movie Prathyardhi Launch.

Ravi Varma, Vamshi, Akshata Sonawane and Rohit Bahl starrer crime and suspense thriller ‘Prathyardhi’ to be directed by Shankar Mudavath and produced by Sanjay Shah under the banner of Gaalu Paalu Dream Entertainment has been launched today grandly with Pooja ceremony at Ramanaidu Studio in Hyderabad. For the first shot on Ravi Varma, Vamshi and Akshata, TRS MLA Janardhan Reddy switched on the camera, while popular producer Raj Kandukuri sounded the clapboard. The first schedule will begin from today and it will continue till December 4th. They plan to wrap up the shooting with a schedule from the 20th of December to the end of January.

Actress Akshata said, “I’m very excited to be part of this movie. This is my first film in Telugu. I thank my producer and director for giving me this opportunity.” Here are the stills of Akshata Sonawane at the movie launch event.

Akshata Sonawane was one of the contestants of MTV Splitsvilla Season 10 (2017), which aired on MTV India. She was born on 9th May 1996 in Panvel, Mumbai, India. She finished her schooling at St. Mary’s High School, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, and SIES Nerul. Akshata was also a Basketball player on the National Level. She goes on trips often. Since childhood, she wished to become an actress, therefore, she entered into acting from the modeling industry.

Akshata has earlier showed up in many pageants such as won the Face of Navi Mumbai title, the winner of Kalanilayam (2014), 1st runner up in Miss Raigad Queen (2015), and winner in Elite Miss India Asia (2015). She debuted in television with the reality show MTV Splitsvilla 10, The first ‘ideal match’ of Splitsvilla 10, Siddharth Sharma and Akshata Sonawane can be seen sharing a fantastic chemistry on the show.
