'Dear Krishna' is an upcoming film that is shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu. According to director Dinesh Babu, the film is inspired from real life incident that happened in Kerala. Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju who shot to fame with the blockbuster film Premalu is set to enthrall. “The film is based on an incident that happened to Akshay Krishnan a plus two student in 2018. The story is a testament to the miracles that unfold when we surrender to a higher power. Such miracles can happen to any person who believed in God.”
The director further clarifies that Mamitha Baiju is not playing Akshay Krishnan’s love interest in the film. “But she plays one of the central characters in the story and drives the narrative along with Aishwarya Ullas, Avenash, Sameer, Shanti Krishna and Lohit,” says Dinesh who is also the film's screenwriter, dialogues and cinematographer.
