Dutta made her debut in the Tamil film industry with Ramprakash Rayappa's Tamizhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum (2015). Later she did movies like Paayum Puli, Achaaram, Aarathu Sinam, Sathriyan, Marainthirunthu Paarkum Marmam Enna. In 2018 she became runner up in Bigg Boss Tamil 2.
