Aindrita Ray is a South Indian film actress, primarily appearing in Kannada films. She made her acting debut in 2007 starring in Meravanige and went on to appear in several commercially successful films and also establishing herself as a leading contemporary actress of Kannada cinema. Aindrita Ray even received Suvarna Best Actress Award and South Scope Best Kannada Actress Award for her portrayal of Devika in the film Manasaare.
After that the Sandalwood actress appeared in Veera Parampare (2010), Paramathma(2011) and Bhajarangi(2013) as the lead heroine and over 25 plus Kannada movies. She also did 2 Bengali movies (Bachchan and Amar Aponjon).

Aindrita Ray was born on April 16, 1985, in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Aindrita completed her higher studies at Baldwin High School, Bangalore. She then completed her graduation from Dr. B R Ambedkar Dental College, Bangalore. While in college, Aindrita started part-time modelling and appearing in commercials.

The sandalwood actress has been rumoured to be involved with the actor Diganth. It is believed that their love blossomed on the sets of the film Manasaare and they have been spotted together on various occasions thereafter. After years of denying the rumours of their relationship and mentioning that they were just friends, in 2012, Diganth finally admitted being in a relationship and married Aindrita Ray on 12 December 2018.
The Kannada actress will be debuting in Bollywood soon with movie titled ‘Coming Back’ starring Arbaaz Khan and another movie about a nautanki company, set in the 80s in a small village in Gujarat. In which she plays the role of a girl called Rani, who acts as Sita on stage.
