Bhagyashri Borse continued to dazzle on the Lenin promotional circuit, this time stepping out for the pre-release press meet in an utterly dreamlike blush pink ensemble that felt like something straight out of a garden fantasy. After her bold royal blue Banarasi saree at the pre-release event in Tirupati, she switched to a softer, more ethereal register for the press meet — and the result was one of the most romantic, visually arresting promotional looks of the season.

This look is built around two distinct but deeply complementary pieces. The base is a blush baby-pink sequinned and shimmer-fabric A-line midi kurta — clean, fluid, and feminine, falling just below the knee with a gentle flare. Understated on its own, the kurta becomes the perfect canvas for the dramatic showpiece that transforms the entire ensemble: a large, sheer organza dupatta styled as a dramatic cape draped across both arms.

The organza cape dupatta is extraordinary — a near-transparent pale pink canvas featuring large, three-dimensional hand-painted and appliquéd floral motifs scattered across the fabric in bold, saturated tones. Hot magenta-pink blooms, soft blush petal florals, and cool periwinkle-blue flowers with textured centres sit against branches and stems of painted green leaves, all finished with delicate gold beading, seed pearl accents, and tiny white floral details. Draped to fall off both shoulders and cascade down the arms, the cape gives the wearer a literal halo of flowers — transforming the silhouette into something that reads as much as art as it does fashion. This style of dramatic cape dupatta layered over a clean kurta is a trend that’s rapidly gaining momentum in South Indian celebrity styling, but Bhagyashri Borse’s version — with its vivid, painterly botanical motifs — is among the most beautiful executions of it seen this season.
The round neckline of the kurta beneath was finished with a delicate band of gold crystal and sequin embellishment — barely there, but catching the light with a soft shimmer that tied the gold accents of the florals to the kurta, creating visual cohesion between the two pieces.
For jewellery, she wore elegant small earrings featuring what appear to be emerald and pink stone or ruby drops — a gemstone pairing that bridged the cool green leaves and the warm pink blooms of the dupatta in a thoughtful, coordinated way. A pearl or crystal bracelet on the wrist and a simple ring completed the look without adding clutter.
She completed the look with blush satin kitten heels featuring a delicate bow detail at the toe — soft, feminine, and perfectly in tune with the romantic, garden-party energy of the entire ensemble.
Her hair was styled in voluminous, soft medium-length waves swept to one side — warm, dark brown with a natural sheen that framed her face beautifully. Her makeup was refined and polished: warm rose-gold eyeshadow blended to a soft, glowing finish, defined brows, a mauve-pink glossy lip, a subtle shimmer highlight on the cheekbones, and a barely-there bindi that kept the look just grounded enough in traditional femininity. The overall effect was luminous, fresh, and entirely photo-ready.
Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, “Lenin” is one of the most anticipated Telugu releases of mid-2026, starring Akhil Akkineni in the lead role opposite Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. The film is jointly produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Manam Enterprises LLP and Sithara Entertainments, with music composed by S. Thaman. The story is set against the raw, unfiltered landscape of Rayalaseema, weaving together political tensions, cultural identity, and deeply rooted family loyalties into a mass rural drama. The supporting ensemble includes Sunil, Sivaji, Brahmaji, and Easwari Rao in key roles. Producer Naga Vamsi expressed strong confidence in the film at the pre-release event, promising audiences would be stunned by both the interval block and the final 40 minutes. ZEE Network has acquired the streaming and satellite rights — Lenin will premiere on ZEE5 post-theatrical run, with television premieres on ZEE Telugu and ZEE Cinemalu. The film releases worldwide in theatres on July 10, 2026.
