Actress Iswarya Menon, known for her stylish action in the movie “Spy,” will appear in a completely different role in “Bhaje Vaayu Vegam.” The film, featuring Kartikeya Gummakonda in the lead, is produced by UV Concepts under the prestigious banner of UV Creations. Rahul Tyson, famous for his role in “Happy Days,” plays a significant part. Directed by Prashanth Reddy, the movie is an emotional action thriller set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on the 31st of this month. In a recent media interaction, Iswarya Menon shared insights about her role in the film.

“I portray a character named Indu in ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam.’ She is a beautician who exudes natural beauty. The story revolves around Venkat, the hero, and is narrated from his perspective. My character is integral to the plot. Although this is a commercial film, my role is not the typical fleeting heroine; Indu is deeply dedicated to Venkat. ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ features raw content with impressive action and emotional depth. I enjoy working on such subjects, and the association with a prominent banner like UV Creations made me accept the film immediately.”

“In this film, I will be seen in a traditional avatar, wearing sarees and traditional dresses. I love portraying such characters because I enjoy wearing traditional attire in real life. After ‘Spy,’ I received several offers in Telugu cinema, as well as in Tamil and Malayalam films. Although I have a strong affinity for the Telugu industry and want to do more movies here, I can’t turn down exciting projects from other industries. I recently got the opportunity to work with Mammootty in Malayalam, which is a rare honor.”

“In ‘Spy,’ I donned modern outfits and performed stylish action sequences. However, my character in ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ is completely different. While we cherish every project we work on, the outcome is beyond our control. I want all my movies to be super hits, but ultimately, it’s the audience’s reception that decides their success. The team worked hard on ‘Spy,’ but the results were not as expected.”

“‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ offers a mix of action, emotion, love, and romance, though the romantic aspect is less prominent. The story is filled with twists and turns, which director Prashanth has skillfully kept under wraps. I did not dub my character in this film as the director believed another voice would suit it better.”

“I enjoyed working with Kartikeya. After watching his movie ‘RX 100,’ I was eager to collaborate with him. He is friendly and approachable. As a Bharatanatyam dancer, I hope to feature in good dance numbers in the future. I love to dance but haven’t yet had the opportunity to showcase it fully. I also aspire to take on more performance-oriented roles and establish myself as a commercial film heroine.”
