Noted Telugu producer Raj Kandukuri, who won awards for his films like Pelli Chupulu and Mental Madhilo, is now launching his son Siva Kandukuri as hero on silver screen. The upcoming romantic flick titled Chusi Chudangane is being directed by newbie Sesha Sindhu Rao. As the movie is hitting screens on January 31, the film crew and cast caught up with media persons.

“When I had decided to enter movie industry as a protagonist, Sesha Sindu Rao came up with an interesting romantic tale. It excited me instantly. Everyone in my family pushed me to go ahead with the project. My father Raj Kandukuri is introducing me to Telugu audiences by keeping faith in me. Special thanks to all the technicians, who did amazing work in bringing out the final product, and producer Suresh Babu who is instrumental in releasing the movie,” debutant actor Siva said.

Woman director Sesha said she has been waiting to tell a story to audiences through this movie. “Finally, it took a form. I am thankful to Raj Kandukuri for investing into the project. Actor Siva has so much scope for acting in the film. Female lead star Varsha, too, gave her best. I was surprised that she picked up Telugu before the shoot ended,” she added.

Speaking on the occasion, producer Raj Kandukuri said, “I always like to work with young team. When director Sesha Sindu told me that my son Siva would be apt for the protagonist’s role, I decided to introduce my son. The movie has a natural flow of storytelling. With all the commercial elements, I can say that a good romantic tale is waiting to be told.”

The singles are being released through Madhura Audio. There is good response from netizens for the theatrical trailer of the movie and for the songs. The music rendered by Gopi Sundar is going to be a highlight of the film. Actor Varsha who is being introduced to Telugu film industry, expressed her happiness for being part of the film.
